This nozzle sets new standards in wear resistance and hardness that are orders of magnitude superior to other E3D nozzles. ObXidian is not only several orders of magnitude harder than the Nozzle X, but also compared to any other hardened steel nozzle. This is achieved through the innovative combination of a tool steel insert with an E3DLC™ coating. The specially formulated coating not only gives the nozzle exceptional hardness, but also non-stick properties. The result? Significantly less plastic accumulates around the nozzle.
The freedom to experiment is paramount. Thanks to the uncomplicated nozzle exchange, you can easily try out different nozzles for different applications. Switch from your Revo brass nozzles to ObXidian to experience fiber-rich prints and let your creativity run wild.
Installation is designed to be frustration-free. Each Revo Nozzle consists of a pre-assembled nozzle and a HeatBreak in one unit. This means no dangerous hot tightening and no possibility of incorrect assembly. Say goodbye to frustrating hot end leaks - experience reliable 3D printing!
Quick identification of nozzle sizes is made possible by color-coded silicone socks. In addition, the size is engraved on each Revo Nozzle with easy-to-read numbers. So you don't have to remember any complicated markings!
Please note: Revo™ nozzles are not compatible with V6-type HeaterBlocks. When changing the nozzles, it may be necessary to adjust the Z offset. The use of abrasives with 0.25 mm nozzles is not recommended. The risk of nozzle clogging increases considerably due to possible larger particle sizes, especially with fibers. Nevertheless, 0.25 mm nozzles benefit from the low adhesion properties of the E3DLC coating.
