PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) Filament
3DXTech FluorX PVDF Filament
FluorX PVDF with very high chemical resistance 3DXTech PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) is a high-performance polymer that offers exceptional thermal and chemical resistance. The material is also highly resistant to abrasion.
With a temperature resistance of up to 130 °C, FluorX PVDF is ideal for demanding applications under the most extreme conditions. PVDF is resistant to a wide range of chemicals and solvents.
Advantages of PVDF
✔ High thermal resistance 130°C
✔ Excellent chemical resistance, e.g. automotive fluids, oils, gases, lubricants, fully halogenated hydrocarbons, alcohols, acids and bases
✔ Non-hygroscopic, does not absorb moisture. No drying required
UV-resistant with very stable H-F bonds
✔ Low smoke and flame development (class V-0 base material)
✔ Long-term hydrolytic stability
✔ Resistant to nuclear radiation
✔ Very good abrasion resistance (similar to nylon)
